On September 16, the Wuyishan Municipal Government announced three new autumn products: an immersive tea banquet, the "Moon Reflecting Wuyi" water curtain show, and a zero-carbon tea mountain study tour. These itineraries are expected to increase visitor length of stay from 2.1 days to 3.2 days. Fliggy data shows that searches for "Wuyishan tourism" increased by 190% week-over-week over the past three days, reaching a peak since the keyword "Wuyishan tourism" was created.

 

(I) "Wuyishan Tourism" Enters Tea Tourism 3.0, Transforming Tea Enterprises into Scenic Spots

The Xiangjiang Yunchaxing Complex opened on September 10 with a total investment of 380 million yuan. The complex integrates tea processing, new tea beverages, and immersive theater. In its first six days, it welcomed 45,000 visitors, becoming a new landmark for "Wuyishan Tourism." Visitors can experience the entire "tea-calling, tea-picking, and tea-competing" process, with an average stay of 2.5 hours per person, generating 320 yuan in secondary consumption.

 

(II) Night Tourism Economy Upgrades: "Moon Reflecting Wuyi" Earns Guinness Record

The world's first 45-meter high-pressure water curtain show, "Moon Reflecting Wuyi," completed its 30th performance on September 15th, attracting over 60,000 viewers and earning the Guinness Record for "World's Largest Outdoor Water Curtain Projection." The 270-degree water-surrounding grandstand and IMAX-quality imaging bring Wuyi legends and tea culture to life on the water curtain. Nighttime visitor traffic increased by 58% year-on-year, directly boosting overnight stays in Wuyishan.

 

(III) Zero-Carbon Tea Mountain Study Tours: Parent-Child Families Make Up Over Half of All Visitors

Wuyishan has launched a "Zero-Carbon Tea Mountain" study tour program where children can calculate carbon emissions from tea picking, use photovoltaic technology to cure tea leaves, and redeem carbon neutrality certificates. During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, this product attracted 2,100 parent-child families, with an average customer spending of 890 yuan and a 68% repurchase intention, becoming a key growth point for Wuyishan tourism in the autumn.

 

(IV) Enhanced Transportation Connections: Seamless Integration of High-Speed ​​Rail and Scenic Transportation

Nanping City added a "Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday Special Line" from Wuyishan North Station to the scenic area, with a 10-minute interval and a 20-minute one-way trip. 200 sightseeing buses were deployed within the scenic area, and a "One-Click Ride Request" mini-program was launched, reducing the average wait time to 5 minutes. Convenient transportation boosted the positive rating of Wuyishan Tourism to 97%.

 

(V) B&Bs Designated "Wuyi Mingsu" with 11 Demonstration Properties Offering a 30% Premium

Wuyishan designated 11 tea-themed B&Bs as "Wuyi Mingsu," offering tea art experiences, tea-themed cuisine, and handmade tea dyeing. The average room rate was 30% premium, and the occupancy rate was 100% during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism stated that it will evaluate 20 more hotels before National Day, turning "Wuyishan Tourism" accommodation into an extension of tea culture.
