Wuzhizhou Island is located 9 kilometers outside Haitang Bay, Sanya. It covers an area of only 1.48 square kilometers, but it concentrates all the essence of tropical islands. The history of this island can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty. It was once the base of the Qiongya Column's maritime guerrillas. The existing blockhouse ruins and air-raid shelters tell the story of the war years. After being developed into a tourist attraction in 2001, it gradually transformed into a synonym for romance. More than 100,000 love locks have been hung on the Lover's Bridge.
